Scope
The Trust is aimed primarily at….
- Education initiatives which develop skills relevant to the market needs and which create jobs, entrepreneurs with a focus on technology, maths and science.
- Educating and/or looking after the welfare of children whose parents’ livelihood has been adversely affected by HIV and/or AIDS
- Alleviating the welfare of abused women and/or children
- Promoting entrepreneurial models of development delivery that address health outcomes and promote social development anywhere in Southern Africa
Mission Statement
To drive a Social Development Strategy that delivers sustainable health, education and welfare outcomes that can be models to improve delivery and contribute to a better quality of life in our communities.

Operations
The Trust operates under strict governance rules, especially relating to audits, holding of meetings and keeping of minutes and records. In addition, the Trust has its own legal persona, operates its own bank account, has appointed auditors and has a duly appointed Board of Trustees.

Business Model
The Trust has developed its business model around the sourcing of successful projects which have proven to be globally successful; can be implemented locally; sustainable organisation models promotion; using mentorship and training to support investments; harnessing the network of J&J offices across the country; to be the link between best practice and local entrepreneurs and to be able to measure development impact.
Steering Committee
The purpose of the Steering Committee is to harness and leverage the skills from within the group to the benefit of the Trust, to incorporate working models and source sustainable models and manage the operations of the Trust. In conclusion, the Trust will incubate a range of initiatives that will become independently run, while seeking to crowd in other stakeholders, from Government, NGO’s, business partners, own investments and enterprises into co-sponsoring the achievement of development objectives.
